Postion: Sales Assistant
Position Description:
- Accurately processing sales orders in a timely manner
- Professional face-to-face, telephone or email interaction with customers to answer questions, gather information, and process their sales orders.
- Working with product vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of merchandise to the showroom
- Accurately processing returned merchandise from the customer and back to the manufacturer
- Tracking special product orders
- Credit card and cash transactions
- Performance of the daily cash summary
- Entry of product transfer and product receipt information into the company’s ERP system
- Ensuring the showroom always has an adequate supply of printed sales and marketing materials.
- Accurately maintaining the showroom’s hard and softcopy filing system
Preferred Qualifications
- A naturally out-going approach and desire to provide excellent customer service on a consistent basis
- An organized approach to work and attention to detail that relies on follow-up and follow through
- Work experience serving the public in sales, marketing, customer service, education, or administrative capacity
- Computer proficiency – MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- An appreciation of home fashion
